This has no point

Well, my basic idea for this blog was to upload art and post stuff. But now I'm posting stuff for a website I upload art on... so, it seems to make less and less sense. I would primarily use this site to blog about things I don't like or am thinking of doing but that would make it a blog (which would suck) so I'm not going to do that. So, check out my other sites and maybe in the future I'll find a reason to update this. When it is, I'll let all three of you followers no personally by carrier pigeon. Seacrest out!

Animation attempt.

So, yes. That's what animation looks like when I get my mitts on it. It took forever, but already it's getting rave reviews from me in a batman mask. I might actually take time and get a video that lasts like... a minute or two. That'd be amazing, but it'd probably take months. How the hell did they used to make cartoons?!

Also, this band RULES! Not to mention the videos wicked. I just can't get enough of this song, it's so well put together. And I've caught a couple others, they're not one hit wonders. I'm dying to get their album.

Really though, I can't do the sarcasm anymore. I want to punch her. Ohhhh kay. She's got it all figured out and, as we can see by the hair and the skateboarding friends, she's an individual. That automatically gives you the right to sing generic radio songs while spewing out life advice for the rest of us.
I suppose I'm a bit harsh on her though. I mean, this music makes me want to hold my own head underwater, but she's not to blame entirely. She's 15 years old, and 15 year olds are dumb, not much more dumb than adults, but a different kinda dumb. It's the army of able minded people producing, advertising, directing, lighting, and filming this crap and that none of them scream "Wait, stop! This is awful and we are bad people!" Nope, everrrrybody does it because they know they'll get paid because 14 year old girls are the only people left buying cd's. "Jeez, Kenzie, it's just fun to listen to. Not everything has to be all artsy you know." You know, you're right, where's my best of The Jonas Brother's CD? Mmm, what nice songs. They seem like such nice guys.

I'm really getting into the Germs after checking out The Decline of Western Civilization. You have to check it out, there's much better quality performances of the Germs and lots of others (Circle Jerks, Black Flag, X, and more!).

Shit yeah, music!

Hella awesome psychedelic rock! I can't find a torrent for this album, and there's not a ton of info on these dudes, but apparently they're Italian. Anywho, this is the best song I've heard of theirs, and certainly the most popular, you'll see why.



As I am obsessed with the Mars Volta, and anything else those two rascals put their hands on, I was pumped to come across Los Dregtones. A band lead by Cedric, they only put out a 5 song demo, but it's on youtube and it's sweet. This little ditty makes me want to skank the night away.

This is the inside of the little booklet that the previous sketch was the cover for. I'm fooling around with the idea of zines. I really like that approach to art. The hands on, interactive, mass produced, and accessible.
This image, like many, was more of an exploration. I had no set idea in mind, I just kinda went with it. Andre Breton said that collage allows people with no technique to express themselves, or something like that. I constantly use the idea of collage, mixing and matching ideas, or drawings different things as one drawing. I don't know what I'm getting at. I like controlled chaos basically. I don't want to over analyze things, I'm terrible for that, and this is my way of fighting it. So I hope you get something out of it.
